What is the milage you guys get from your cars on a full tank of petrol???? I owuld like to see what the SLs come in at to campare to mine but feel free to join in ....

Car SL320 V6

Around town 270 miles

Motorway around 350 roughly

Very close to home, 350miles .
Longer runs warm weather 400miles.
Cruising around at a constant 60, 500miles
before I bought 60 liters.

E300D 124 series- best was 500 miles on A-roads in Scotland, normal with a combined city/A-roads and motorway cruising at 85-90 comes in at around 420 before the reserve light comes on.

270-300 before the light comes on, doesn't alter very much, maybe would do better on a long run if I drove slower

All time low was hardly any miles (150?) but I was deliberately trying to see how bad I could make it (I worked it out at 12.8mpg).

Around town about I normally get about 220 miles out of a tank.

If I add some motorway, say, 250

All motorway maybe 275.

This is for about 60l of fuel.

I am sure I could do better but I enjoy wafting along on bellows of midrange and occasional NASCAR trips to the red line.

Mine works out at approx 32 ave mpg, so 70l x 7m = 490m per tank.
MPG varies on type of motoring between 25 worst - 42 best.

That's more than I get from my V70R, but your runs are only 5 miles each way and nothing is very good in those conditions.

errr, filled up drove 24 miles through the fast windy lanes home and gauge was on 3/4 - filled to the brim again and almost exactly 20 litres went in - so gauge is accurate! MPG = 5.34 I think...... thats 96 miles to a tank and probably about 12 points....

Normally about 230 miles from a full tank until the 10 litre warning light lights but i do drive it with a little bit of spirit - its just that V8 noise that does it ! It does early 20's when the better half is with me though...

How big is the tank on yours? I would say thats about right.

Best (sofar haven't taken it on a very good run) 31mpg

Average 18mpg

Going by Davidsl500, you could double it by getting a 500.

What a fantastic set of stats. The gauntlet is down. You have made my 12.8mpg look quite pathetic.
