ML 350-door light when locked

Dear Members,

I have an ML350 2011 edition-lately the door panels in the front does not light up when its locked.I have gone into settings using the steering wheel but cant seem to get the door lock indicator to light up when the door isa locked.

Any suggestions pls?

The doors should not light up when locked.

None of the Mercedes range past or present have doors that light up when locked,
