MOT !!!

Woke up yesterday morning and realised I bought my car 4th Dec last year with new MOT and I hadn’t even thought until it crossed my mind it was due 3rd Dec so had been driving for 2 weeks with no ticket.
We are so used to getting email/text reminders for RFL/ insurance/recovery but not MOT (unless you register)
As it happens I’ve got booked in for 1 PM tomorrow so fingers crossed it will be good news.

I put annual calendar invites in for all of mine. That way I get a reminder a month before the MOT or insurance is due.

I haven’t had to MOT a car for many years because I’ve always had under 3 year old cars, but I will register with the Gov reminder service.

A few years ago I tried to tax a car I had & the system wouldn't let me. Turned out the MOT had expired about 8 months previously!

I've never had a car new enough to not need an MOT
