Surely anything Nano is made for cars that are finished in Nano paint.

Not at all. You can use nano coatings on most cars.

The only finish that usually requires a specific/bespoke product is Matt Finishes. Then it depends if it is actually matt paint or a wrap as to what you use.

Nano Tech is the new "in thing" when it comes to detailing. Coupled with the new types of sealants that form a crystalline type coating and actually add depth to the clearcoat. Say for example you remove 0.4 of a micron to remove swirls/scratches etc. Some of the new products will put a layer 0.2 of a micron back on the car. They are highly resistant to scratches etc. Once a car is Crystal Coated, asssuming you wash it correctly, it shouldn't ever need polishing again.

its just the brand name i believe, they specialise in their auto scrub claying alternative and their coatings, i will apply it to the merc after complete paint correction whatever needed so i hope nano paint or not it would be give good results, the time slot reserved for the paint coating is at the end of feb when ill be applying it.

the nano sealant is a ceramic sealant and yes thats meant to be applied on top of the coating if so required (it is not necessary) but it enhances the life and would make it last much more then 4 years then otherwise claimed, it can be applied to just a simple paint finish and wheel though they said at the end of the description though

This is mine with GTechniq C2v3 on it. Which is a nano type ceramic sealant. But it only has up to 8mths durability. Although I find it last about 5mths on a daily driver.

It's only the likes of Crystal Serum which puts a crystalline layer on the car that will last years.

c350carl has already shown you what the final results will be like, i was reading on some detailing forums gtechniq and this product are competitors, gtechniq has been on the market for a while and is a well proven product, this is new and bit more expensive and promises durability of 3 years but i will see whether that claim is true.

ill be applying end of feb as little busy right now, ill put up complete before/after pics then.
this would require some paint correction as well to make sure the surface is absolutely perfect as i would then have to live with the coating for a long time.

I'll be interested in the results Arzaam as i'd like something that will last a good deal of time.

I just don't have the facilities required to use Crystal Serum. That's a product that can't be applied at home unless you have an ultra clean garage.

..........

your car reminds me of my mate who's one of few professional detailers here and he got himself "modesta" what he says is regarded in the top tier of any sort of paint coatings and applied it to his toyota yaris, and like your car his had huge flake pop and a sparkly slick finish. he said it promises to last 10 years.

Modesta was the first one on the market iirc. Crystal Serum is a direct competitor to it.

i have never applied a paint coating myself, so one of the reasons why i was waiting till the end of feb is not only will be be free from some assignments and will be able to give more time to the car, but a professional from nanoskin is coming from abroad and since i bought the product from a official nanoskin product dealer i have arranged for him to come and guide me a bit while applying the product especially since i am one of the first people who have purchased this here and they also want to promote the brand here.

paint coatings as i understand it are not easy to apply s they have to be evenly distributed across the surface to get a uniform layer and i dont want to waste it either:p

The problem with them is if you fook it up you have a LOT of work to correct it.
