Newbie with an E

Evening everyone!

I'm now the proud owner of a 56 E320CDI Sport, having changed from owning an Astra H 1.9CDTi for the last six years.

I'm very pleased so far, it's got a couple of nice options, satnav and a panoramic roof and full leather.

Hoping for a bit of help with a few questions, having modified my Astra I'm sort of itching to do a couple of bits to the new car.

Not quite following you there bud?

The grille on the Merc? Factory sport as far as I know, I'll have a look for a part number on it tomorrow. (If that's what your mean).

Isn't yours the same? It's the same as the one I took off my car today.
Maybe the angle of the picture makes it look different?

I honestly thought all the grilles on the W211 were the same, it seems that the sport just has a bit of a different bumper. Could be wrong on that too, it's all a learning experience

I was looking at exjagman car picture with star in the middle yes mine is the same as yours sorry for mistake nice car worth looking at service history and see if gearbox fluid has been changed I think should be done at 48 thou but could be wrong enjoy the car best regards Colin

Hi Colin,

Here's the ebay link for the grill, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360849702306?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
you can also get it in silver and I did see a full chrome one for about £50 more.
Really easy to swap over, took about 10mins.
Not as robust as the merc one, but looks good

PS You have to remember to swap over your own little rubber gromets ( 3 along the bottom ).
