Noise from Alarm siren on my SLK230

I am getting a static like noise from the alarm siren unit attached to the wing. Part number is JS1064MGB...
Any ideas welcome...

Replace the siren. There is a PCB and battery in there its the brains of the alarm. water ingress or battery has died/leaked.

As above. New alarm unit required.
Easy DIY job and costs around £110 for new alarm.

Maybe open old one if it leaked ,as did 2 of mine .maybe look at mounting it differently such as leak dont end up on pcb.crcx design. If my pcb had been ok I would look at external batt pack. Its basically £100 designed to fail!as is much else today.
