I am on the point of making up my mind as to whether to purchase my first Merc! My local used car dealer has a nice 03 A class long wheel base elegance with 19000 miles. Full leather heated seats, full size sun roof, stack system CD, AMG alloys etc etc. All in excellent condition apart from badly scuffed front alloys. He wants £8995 and will not move on the price. He has offered £7500 for my 04 Citroen Picasso (27000 miles). The deal is £1500 + my car, or £8225 with no trade in. He will have the Merc service at a Merc dealership, put on 2 new front tyres and do its first MOT.
