Worth noting,.......with these plates if you print them in negative form, then the number shows up nice and clear.

Don't waste your money, learn to stick within the speed limits.

I should have added above.

Sticking to the limits might be boring, but noy as boring, or frustrating as sitting out an ban, once all your points have totted up!

Don't be to sure about that in France, or Spain for that matter, i know for a fact that they terget tourists as a means or revenue.

A friend of mine got fined on the spot in Spain, £90 for being 7km, yes 7km over the limit on a motorway. They took him off the motorway to a bank to get the cash, before they would let him go on his way!!

I got an on the spot £90 fine in France in 1999 on the autoroute. Not complaining, just agreeing that they are not very laissez-faire any more.

And, recently (mid 2001) a law was passed allowing for the automatic suspension for drivers caught breaking the speed limit by 40km/h or more. They don't ALWAYS apply it, but they have said they can enforce this against tourists too.

And using a radar detector is illegal in France!
