Hi

Does anyone know how to replace A-Class, model 168, cabin dust/pollen filter?

Parts guy at Mercedes said Filter was under wiper arms, near motor. Although I've stripped off top plastic cowling - there doesn't seem to be anything obvious. I assume it's near an air intake aperture of some description. I haven't taken off main plastic cowling under wiper arms - because this looks like a lot of hassle and means disconnecting wiper arms?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Richard

Sorted!

Only Mercedes could build a car where replacing the pollen filter involved disconnecting both wiper arms, the removal of 2 plastic trim components and 7 self-tapping screws to get at it.

The only good thing about it - is it allows you to thoroughly clean the rubber seal that connects the plastic wiper trim to the window and the draining holes on both driver and passenger side. Was worth it - the pollen filter was absolutely filthy.

Sorted!
