Sl55 20" wheels.

Was told recently that this is a no no on this car.upsets the chassis and causes the roof to make stress noises.true???and no I wasn't considering it.

Many car in the USA have 20", the ride must not be so good.

I ran my 230 on 19" with over sized tyres and that was very good

I have 20's on mine and I have not noticed any roof noise, the only thing is maybe you feel bad road conditions a little more, the only other SL55 I have driven has 19's fitted and I think I can feel a little less response in the corners, it might be just me and I know F all. :lol:

I know mines not an SL but I WILL be definitely fitting 20's on mine, as soon as funds allow. Don't see why tuners like Brabus, Carlsson etc would make them if they wouldn't fit certain models.
