hi
just bought a second hand slk (99) the drivers window comes up too far so when you open and close the door it just sticks up enough to cause a slight gap between it and the rear quarter light
anyone know how the ajuster works?
or is there parts to replace?

thanks

Try a reset, with window down, sit in car with key turned to 2, put window up and hold the switch for 10 sec, that should re set it.

there is an adjuster on the top left corner(drivers door),The window has metal stops glued to the bottom left corner of the glass these strike the stop first and cause the window align. On my SLK these stops broke free and allowed the window to travel too far which gave the symptoms you describe.I refitted the stops using a metal/glass adhesive I got from halfords.

I had to get my window changed as the limiter (attached to the window?) was worn. I was advised by Merc that it couldn't be adjusted?
