Apparently the guys on the Taycan forum say it is a rumour started by the Tesla forum.

Taycan owners have not receiven notifications from Porsche.

Planes have been built with rivets almost since they started making metal aircraft and metals combined with composites are what all aircraft are built of these days.

My cousin was an aircraft engineer since leaving school until his retirement 5 years ago, we wont tell them what he said about these flying machines......

We all have somebody that worked in an industry & whose anecdotes “disprove" the prevailing empirical knowledge about that industry.

It is a fact that it safer to fly than drive down the road.

I routinely read all motor vehicles alerts published weekly JUST-PRODUCT-SAFETY@ec.europa.eu.

But this is a first! (if my memory serves me right).
The fault is not restricted to a specific location or part on car but it is probaly pervasive due to its nature across the whole structure of the car. And how will a recall fix that?????

If you’ve seen the Matt Armstrong videos where he’s rebuilding a Porsche GT3RS the front tub is glue and rivets. Oh and carbon fibre.
