speed humps

Hi, i was talking to my friend who has a 190E F reg, he said to me that every time he goes over a speed hump/bump his sump catches.
I was wondering if anybody with a SL 420 had any problems of this sort.
Also, how would i know if my car has been lowered.
Would be grateful for any help. Regards Damien.

If his sump is hitting speed bumps his engine must be hanging out of car .

You would no if it had been lowered by looking at the gap between the wheel and the arch.
