As per the title, you can replace the fuse and it blows soon after, no dash lights so would anyone know what this may be please?

You have a short where the live wire is touching the body or earth.
Check there is nothing inside the ciggy lighter causing the short.
Try dissconnecting the lighter socket from the back, it should pull off.
Trace the wire back towards the fusebox looking for any other wiring that has been added that may be causing the problem.
This is often the fuse that auto electricians use to add accessories.

A 5p coin is a nice fit in a ciggy lighter ....
Took me a while to find that on a previous car.

I have had this problem on a different vehicle where someone had swapped the lighter itself for a different one and it caused a short because it did not fit correctly
