Strange Fault Messages

Any thoughts on this strange happening:

Vehicle 2001 S500.
Whilst reversing into a parking place 3 malfunctions came up simultaneously:
1. BAS. Brake Assist?Visit Workshop
2. ESP. Elec.Stabil.Prog?Visit Workshop
3. ABC. Active Body Control

Owners Manual says for Item 2 to turn steering wheel lock to lock and then back to the central position to reset the system. Did this and all 3 messages cleared and have not re-appeared since.

Any thoughts?

This will come up if it gets confused with the steering wheel position - hence turning the wheel lock to lock. It uses this sensor for the ESP and ABC and presumably the BAS comes in there somehow too. As it's covered in the manual I would guess that it can happen occasionally during tight menouvering such as a car park and so nothing to worry about.
I had the same warnings on the E when I disconnected the battery - did the lock to lock and its been fine since.
I wouldn't worry about it.
