My W212 is making a slight clunking sound when steering and moving off slowly and reversing. I had the front suspension checked by Alex Crow as It sounded like it was coming from the front but it was all ok. I changed the front drop links recently
I know there may be other causes but could this be the rear droplinks?
As far as I'm aware they are the originals and car has done 183k.
Should be a straightforward and "cheap" diy job, as long as I have learned from doing the fronts!
Thanks

One of my front droplinks had worked itself a bit loose, which was not what i was hearing. I've narrowed down the slight clunking sound - seems to happen when moving off and steering - I can hear it when steering full lock left and right at very low speed.
