Keep origional. Maybe wrap bonnet in same colour to deal with stone chips. I am not a great believer in car mods buy one you like, keep it as origional.

A mod too far perhaps!

I keep my cars as they come off the production line that’s just my personal thing. I occasionally do a mod the last one entailed changing part of the central console on the BMW to the M4 version as it incorporated a knee pad. The only other one of any significance was fitting a Rover SD1 facelift front spoiler to my pre-facelift 3.5 due to the front end becoming light at motorway speeds.

I do get why people like to personalise things but not for me

I think it looks better as it is, but I do wonder what a different colour might look like. Something to highlight the bottom without the appearance of it being missing?

But my opinion is probably void... as I also prefer to keep the Chrome!

I think SmartAMG should pass all his car decisions through us, we'll have it the most eye catching car that ever existed in no time.

I'm thinking Fast & furious style graphics down the side, Chrome spinner alloys, Neon underbody lights... the works

Because there seems to be a general aversion to any type of mod whatsoever, it's O.E. or nothing, and that's totally fine, and I know I can do what I want with my car, it's up to me, but I do like your opinions, good or bad, some of them make me laugh, Chris's (C16RKC) for example was a good one.
