twin exhaust tail pipes

on the tail pipes of my E class they just kind of drop down behind rear bumper like pigs tails ...can I fit standard exhaust tips on these or would I have to change back boxes or rear bumper....so that the twin tail pipes poke out or can be seen

Pretty sure an exhaust fabricator would be able to modify the tail pipes but you would need to increase the bumper cutout.

thanks was thinking may be expert job ?? there aint no bumper cut outs exhaust drops down behind bumper ??? would I need a bumper off an E class which has twin exhausts cut outs

You may be able to keep the current bumper and make the required cutout. Again the exhaust fabricator may be able to do this for you.

Powerflow is one name that comes to mind.

looking at my pipes the ends that come out of back box...they twist down to the floor and are very small/stumpy,,,

Don't do it! Those eBay tips look ****e in profile. Get them professionally modified.

Yes thats correct mine also had the same, these trims have a ball n socket arangement so can be angled any way you like, they spread out and grab onto those pig tails.

I had mine Spot welded on just to make sure they wernt coming off
