Hi to you all.
I used to sell Mercedes Benz passenger cars back in the early part of the century (sounds a long time ago) and now I have bought a modest one. Due to poor health I now only work 30 hours a week and was looking for something like a used Jazz then I looked at the prices of used W169 A- Class and got a pleasant surprise. My wife drives an auto and although my car is the "second" car she will drive it and it may occasionally take us up to Scotland, near Inverness, where we have relatives. Anyway I have bought a 2005 A180Cdi with the CVT box. I am delighted to find that the build quality, suspension and interior quality is far superior to the original model that I once sold. My biggest surprise was the operation of the CVT transmission which has exactly the same shift operation as the company C- Class that I used to drive. It is economical, quiet, very well equipped, comfortable and most of all is a Mercedes Benz.
