all comments referring to "custard" or "bananas" etc will soon be brushed off

a bit like water off a "yellow" ducklings back :)

been there with the yellow car - my friends used to refer to my old V8 Rover as the flying banana.

At least people see you coming !

I've got a '94 C200 in yellow, sounds similar to yours - Sports supsension, factory body kit.

Mines known as the "banana mobile" or "pimp mobile", although i like to think of it as more "primrose" than "banana" !

Sounds like a good price too, buy it!

I own a '96 C220 (USA) and can assure you that this entry level (at $32000??) "Baby Benz") is one of their best models. It's a tad heavy for a 2.2 liter engine so performance is a little lack-luster, but it does have some get-up-and-go if you drive it right. Don't be afraid of the mileage as these engines are like oxens if maintained. I'd be more on the look-out for electrical problems which MB is reknown for.
