After hankering after a W124 estate for several years, as a stylish and beautifully engineered limo/load carrier, I finally took the plunge, and now own a ''96 late model E280, with 134k on the clock. 8th owner, quite a history - might make a film...
Thoroughly enjoying myself, despite some illumination eccentrics (see thread). Just fitted a new Alpine DAB/iPod player playing through the factory fitted speakers (F+R) and the sound is great. First random play: Beethoven! There you go...
Only regretting that it took me so long...
