None at the monent, but there's an OM642 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
Having run my '93 280E for about six months now, I've decided to keep it a fair bit longer so will be refurbishing the front suspension this winter (there's a bit of clonking going on down there!).

Being an inveterate 'tightwad', I'd like to replace the pivot bushes and ball joints in the two lower suspension arms, rather than replace the complete arm. However, I don't have access to a hydraulic press, which complicates things!

Is this work that any engineering workshop worth its salt could perform, or do I foresee grovelling to an unsympathetic dealer who doesn't want his 'Cyril Lord' sullying?

Yes a engineerring shop can do it for you but you might have to take them the whole arm.

Be careful when removing the springs as it can be dangerous.

If you need the spring tool I rent mine out.
