Warranties? Are they worth it?

It's an RAC Platinum warranty and the administrator is TWG Services Ltd. It came as part of the negotiated price of the car. The only problem is a ceiling of £1000, but if you know the right person at MB it can be catered for. So far, 2 claims paid within 7-10 days.

You haven't had the car very long and all that work....

The AA's repair service cost's under £70 per year but is not as comprehensive. Although you can make about 5 claims per year with a cieling of £500.

I don't know how much the dealer paid for it, but he did say it was expensive. I think I believe him now.
