Hi where can I find the towing eye? I have looked around the spare Tyre, but can only see the jack. I do not want to tow the car, but need the eye.

Try removing the jack. There should be a tool pouch underneath it.

No just the jack next to the spare wheel, which I also removed. Nothing in the pull down side except a warning triangle.

That's odd Brian, mine has the warning triangle & jack next to each other (LHS of spare wheel) with the toolbag underneath both of them.

Odd! Ours is also an estate!

Try removing the spare and the jack, and having a good rummage around. The tool bag may have slipped underneath the boot trim. It's blue with a tie top.

Already done that. I did buy this car second hand, so maybe lost. I have ordered one off Ebay. Gen part £8. Mercedes £23+Vat.

Ah, that could be it......... Do you have a wheelbrace? Ours is in the toolbag so worth checking that out too.

I have an extendable one. Make it easier to remove the nuts.
