Winter Tyre Workout

Today I got to test out the winter tyres. I mangaged the 25 mile commute with ease. There seemed to be enough traction to be able to drive without tensing up and I never tested the ABS despite hitting 80mph on the straights.

Just drove home in -5C and was stuck behind loads of slow moving cars. I overtook a line on one of the straights of about five cars, there was three Range Rovers in there. I'm guessing they were school run vehicles, but they should have been able to overtake...you would have thought?

Even RR's come with insufficient tyres for when it gets that snowy, just goes to show the difference winter tyres give to the car and the driver.

Can't wait for the next trip to the alps.
