woolley steering on 380SL (1982)

Hi everyone, I have just bought a 380 SL to play withbut the steering is not responsive, does anyone have any ideas...?

Jack the drivers side, have someone rock the steering wheel while you look at the track rod ends and the idle box to see if the idler arm goes up and down 63

The damper could be U/S
