I have 5 twin spoke alloys marked
19” x 9 1/2 , 5x112. Et 42. Marked 211A.
Would these fit 05 s class and would the 19” spoil the ride.
The tyres on them are. 255,35,19. Or can I go bigger tyre for better ride.

A 1" change will have a fairly small effect. You just need to compare the ET with what you have. I would have thought an ET in the 30s would be more appropriate for your car but see what it is currently.

19” were available on the platform as part of the AMG option pack. So they’ll fit. Dependent on the tyres you’ll likely not notice much difference in ride quality, it’s an S class after all!

Check your manual or take a wheel off and see what’s stamped on the inside for the et
18” are in my opinion the best for Uk roads but 19 is fine too (it’s what I have)

They should bolt straight on, ET is correct

Recommended Tyres are:

245/40R19 98Y XL
275/35R19 100Y XL

2005 CL500.
The et of 42 all round is about right.

Since they are the same size all round, then the tyres should be the same all round also.

The tyres on them will be close enough. But, when you change them go to 245/40 all round.

Those tyres would ride awful!
Oh and the closest alloy is bent by the way...

Those 235/35s will be terrible. I had 235/35/19 on my r129 and you felt every pebble.
