On both my doors the trim strip directly behind the inner door handle has lifted.I tried glueing them back & in doing so fractured the drivers one.
So I ordered a new one.According to the parts catalogue the part ordered is the right one for my car.
However not only is it the wrong colour it is the wrong part.Mine have no fixings on the back and appear to be glued in place and have a wood finish,according to spec Black Ash Wood.The replacement one has spigots attached to the back which must go into holes in the door panel and is black.
A parts man at Watford MB is taking it up with MB head office.
Anyone else ever experienced anything like this?
