Has anyone taken these horrible things off? I have removed from both cars, in my opinion a car like a mercedes should have a satisfying clunk when you close the boot! Well it didn't clunk at all, it rattled and really bugged me for long enough, so changed to no surround at all and I do think it looks a lot better, not to mention no cheap, horrible nasty rattles now!
I changed my numberplates from the dealer ones to metro style (basically the numbers & letters are a bit smaller in height but more chunky).
