Anyone know what issues a faulty X connector block can cause in V Class in the car?

Anyone had an issue with it?

Hello,

The CAN network is made up of many many modules throughout the car as a way of monitoring that everything is working OK - the voltages that are passed between each module are very specific and altering them will throw the CAN network off often resulting in fault codes and they can be completely unrelated to the actual fault.
It sounds like you've had a diagnostic done on it to be so specific with your question - did the mechanic make any comments about potential repairs?

Being quite a new car, it's probably worth having it repaired by Mercedes, especially if it's still under warranty - not doing so could invalidate your warranty.
