Temporarily replaced by the Ford S Max in the foreground. What a truly awful car ! ...
It’s just gutless Jon, not sure what engine it possesses - seats are hugely uncomfortable.S-Max is supposed to be good, mate has a Viginale one and it is a nice place to be
Yes, I remember you mentioned that before! They tried to give me one of those when my E300 Hybrid bust which I refused and ended up with a GLA for a while which was remarkable capableI said that of a B Class MB lent me a few years ago. On return I said that I couldn't wait to hand it back ... the girl on the desk said that 'everyone says that'

On the plus side it’s full of kit, most of which will dissolve in a year I’d imagine, plastics feel very cheap and flimsy though. I’m quite glad as the wife had been making silly comments like “remember that nice Galaxy we had....”, she is even more negative about this than I am!
But not impossible...

I think S-Max has a bit of a niche as it'll take 3 isofix car seats across the middle row - even the XC90 won't.
Some friends of ours are on their third - they think it's brilliant.
Ours has the ‘family pack’, not 3 x Isofix, but the centre 2nd row seat folds up into a booster seat, and there are really neat window blinds on the rear windows. That was £368 at the time which I thought reasonable.I am sure the XC90 would if you stumped up the payment for the optional extra

I had built in toddler and booster seats in the Caravelle and built in booster seats in an XC70 - so much more secure than fitting child seats in with beltsOurs has the ‘family pack’, not 3 x Isofix, but the centre 2nd row seat folds up into a booster seat, and there are really neat window blinds on the rear windows. Not every car manufacturer has a list of options like Mercedes does
Cheap plastics and lack of leather can bring me out in a rashIt’s just gutless Jon, not sure what engine it possesses - seats are hugely uncomfortable.
