anyone know the part number for the ballast on a 211 ??

It is not sold on its own by MB, just a complete lamp at over £1k,,, you can buy them on Ebay cheap,, the sellers know what car is what

Don't worry...all Xenon lamps are 35 watts...any ballast will make them work.

interesting !? i have a pair of VX xenons at home which are 35w , wonder if they will fit ??

The chances are they are made by Bosch so do have a go

yes thay are bosch ballasts , will post up what i find , maybe a cheaper fix

the ballast on my VX lamp units were HELLA and the same as the merc items matey

for sure with your help sir , not being able to use the car at night was annoying and i didnt even need to take the bumper off ! just need to find 3rd brakelight innards now as some of the LED's have expired

ah i see , they are on ebay for £93 plus post but thats sounds a bit steep to me
