Sorry to drone on about keys folks, but here is the problem...the single button, infra red key stopped working on my SLK.
When I viewed it through a digital camera, i could see the light staying on.....so i took out the batteries, and forgot all about it untill today, I put the batteries back in, and noticed the light was working as it should...ie it goes out, when I let go of the button....so i synched it to the car, and hey presto!! its working again!!
So what's wrong with it? is it a bit like my old sky remote control that used to freeze?? did removing the batteries wipe its memory??
