Hi,

I'm just after your views on the exhuast work i have had done to my C250 TD,

I wasnt too keen on the hidden pointing down exhaust tips, so have opted for a nice shiney stainelss steel one, also having the back box removed!

Personally i love it, love the noise of it and the look of it.

Just wanted to see if anyone agreed with me!

Thanks
Jonathan

Diesels with no silencer do sound good due to the basy sound, but I'd be surprised if it was legal.

The legality of it was a question i raised when i had it done and also if it would affect MOT.

I was told it will not fail an MOT, the cat and centre silencer are still there, it only becomes illegal if its over a certain dB level, i cant remember the exact number, but this is well below it! :D

You don't need a cat for a diesel and the smoke level looks fine and won't alter anyway.

I slipped the rear section off a 300TD and it sounded great as there is no resonator box at all, which you still have fitted.
