And right at that point Germany was saved, as the US Army War Plans Department decided that foreign bases would be available for USAAF bombers. Thus, plan AWPD-1 was adopted (medium range, medium altitude heavy bombers- B-17, B-24, B-29 & B-32) and AWPD-42 (long range, very high altitude super-heavy bombers- B-36) was dropped. That specifically prevented the nuclear destruction of Germany, which AWPD-42 had planned for 250 Mk.III devices - one or more over every city and town in 1947.

The point being, the RAF had despite grevious losses totally defeated the bombined Axis air forces to the point where US strategic planners dropped one plan totally in favour of another.

My issue is that capitalism has evolved into corporatism. The corporates have the Govt's of many nations in their pocket. Many if not most politicians are empire building and are motivated by developing the wealth of their empire.

I don't see the Trump as any different to others I describe as he is certainly a capitalist.

On any conflict The USA provides more $ and man power than all the allies combined.
