I feel for Bottas, but he got the "luck" with the safety car timing and lost the "luck" with the puncture. Vet got the "luck with the safety car timing in Australia, but lost the "luck with his brake and tyre temps and safety car timing in this race. Ham lost the "luck" in Australia, but got the "luck" here. In truth neither of the Mercs "deserved the win, but they all count.

Seems that Ham & Vet aren’t happy about the proposed changes for next year.

It will apparently make the cars around 1 sec slower.

So it will still be the same stalemate, just at 1 sec lap slower.

The FIA need to tell the teams they must design more mechanical grip. I think this will be the only way they can introduce more overtaking within the current rule limitations.

The cars were 3 seconds a lap faster in Spain yesterday compared to last year

So with the changes next year they’ll only be 2 sec a lap faster than last year.

I don’t see the point in giving the cars the ability to follow closely if they become 1 second slower. Some of the tracks require a near 2 sec delta to have the ability to overtake.
