My car's problem was the electrical turbo actuator. No idea about your car.

The turbo on an OM613 is very reliable and very rarely fails.

As mentioned in the thread, it is likely to be another issue, either MAF or EGR which are a lot more common.

I agree for some reason I thing EGR will be somehow blocked or not working 100%

Correct me if I’m wrong, if MAF had a problem the car in idle would struggle to run right?! Because wrong/ no right air info would be calculated.
My car on idle run smooth as ever. On park mode I can rev the car all the way above 3-4k REVs.
Only in D-mode the car won’t REV over 2k.
Which I think some of the exhaust air that goes trough the EGR is not flowing and therefor not triggering turbo to boost the engine.
When pulling the throttle I can see the actuator doing his job, opening and closing. And to finish, because there is no light on the dash means, the EGR is working somehow but maybe obstructed... that’s what i think, I’m not a specialist in the matter :/
But EGR is next to check

I opted for the refurb'd actuator. I wasn't prepared to spend £2500 for a new turbo .... the quote from the local-ish indie

Midlands near Northampton.[/
I see it’s a bit away as you said. I will have a Mercedes specialist checking the issue and doing a Star diagnostic in 2 week. 20min from where I live let’s cross fingers to be something very simple. Anyway, is there any turbo cleaner your guys recommend or using of your engine to get rid of some of the carbon built?!
Thanks

If the MAF was not a genuine Pierburg one I would change it regardless. You can buy them from reputable sellers rather than MB

Good news. I doubt it's a permanent fix, though.

That’s my concern, I will be taking the car anyway to mercedes specialist to have a diagnostic on Star just to have a full check

The turbo shafts gum up if not regularly exercised

You mean the VNT mech?
I did see one with real bad pitting on the turbo shaft. It was my mate's car, he's too lazy for oil changes.
Yes these need a regular thrashing! Hard to do, legally...

Oil changes u mean engine oil change or any specific turbo oil lubricant, sorry for my ignorance :)
