Took me a year after the end of this thread to buy the 'unloved' one from Malcolm, funny reading it all again!

I read it end to end too. It was funny but also very poignant as I remember talking to him in his deliberations at one point.
It seems odd to see his car on our driveway - he used to pop round on a Sunday morning for a coffee and seeing it there through the door makes me think he's just arrived still. Very odd to think he's not there.

Glad to read Malc's SL has gone to a good home.
Hopefully Rose will enjoy the car as much as its previous owners.

Fortunately Rose is very precious about her alloys (in the other cars she would go nuts if I went up a small kerb even very slowly!)
