What a great thread...seemed to pass me by somehow so I missed any input, was a good read...

Car looks fantastic Mark, the W216 is a superb luxury cruiser, I did own a
W215, the CL's do feel special when you drive around in one...I have driven a few Bentley GT's and its really hard to choose...W216 is on my list for the future all being well:D

I can vouch for MBtech in Warrington, they have looked after all 7 of my MB's...they are trained ex MB Liverpool road range techs, and have latest MB STAR diagnostics...ask for Shane or Will.

Thanks for the tip DSB. MBtech have been recommended previously, so when the next service comes around, I'll certainly take your advice. They're not far from work either so will be a good fit for me.

You're right about how special you feel driving this motor. And the strange thing is, eventhough the car has so much power, since getting the car my driving style has become more sedate!

As an aside, this came on the market a couple of days ago........and looks a fantastic buy!

Nice CL63 in the link...but I only do Black buddy:D, my old CL was a very dark Grey, which also was really classy...

When the time comes CL500 with AMG kit I hope...

PS. Why is your post count 0? I would email one of the mods to sort your account out...

Yeah agreed with the Black, I think it's the best colour too, and the benefit is that as they get dirty so easily, we can spend more time cleaning them too! ;)

Ha ha, yeah that post count......I joined here to do get some advice regarding the CL, as I was hopefully lining up a purchase. And being a forum novice I think I put my post in the "introductions" forum, hence a zero post count.

Maybe you're right about getting in touch with the mods, especially if it benefits my account. Cheers.

Yes ask to have this thread moved to the general section as this is the wrong place.
