jl theres a guy stateside who did the 55 coil over nice job ,but a few issues with damping rates and clearances for the front sway bar. he advised that sl 65 black was a special completely bespoke suspension and not feasable for r230. dont knoe EXACTLY why but thats the story vvk usa are supposed to have a finished product for mine,but i have yet to hear of a successful fit tho the site quotes a price.

I found some KW variant 3 coilovers for the r230 (V8). They have adjustable compression and rebound and are $2800 a set. You'd still need to add sway bars and a pump and some way to fool ABC to that. Being coilovers they should be easy to fit different springs (stiffer) if needed. Not sure how much stiffer or how much additional damping the V12 would need?

Sounds good AJ, the current model indeed quotes as having ‘multi link w/coils’ so a very much more traditional approach
