Newbie From Brum - E63 W212

Hi All,

Had my E63 for about 6 months now brought the car from a dealer friend of mine and had a lot of work done by another friend who is on here Acid @ MSL Performance (who recommended this forum).

When i brought the car it had a been in the hands of someone who did not have any taste. Chavy boot spoiler and bumper fins...the car is currently in the body shop getting it put back to how it should be and having a lip spoiler fitted to the car.

When i brought the car...






Had the car lowered by MSL Performance with Springs at the front and Lowering links at the back...






The car currently in the body shop getting the front grill sprayed black, it was originally wrapped and they had wrapped over the merc badge on the grill. Getting the side skirts repainted, back bumper paint, spoiler and side fin removed from the car...

I'm sure I've seen that car before, and pretty convinced it was in MSL at the time.

Well done for getting it looking how it should do, was never a lover of that spoiler.

ETA: Just realised that I do know it,recognise the "580" badges on it...

Yeh it was at msl for a while getting some work done, the 580 badges got taken off as they looked naff. I am talking to MSL about getting it supercharged possibly in the Summer time.

I agree, I would remove all the badges

Oh, and addressed that grill.

Isn't that the wrong grille, I thought the E63 came with the flat bonnet badge and the Star in the Grille??

next is the wheels, don't know if i should get the original ones diamond cut back to original or go all out and get some custom forge Avant Garde Wheels

I'm toying with leaving it on...i thought it would be a good joke but bored of it now lol so most likely take it off.

Wheels wise look at the Vossen CV-T although I like the wheels in black with the polished lip

I've never driven a Ka!

And the only Focii I ever drove were demonstrators (i.e. new), or hire cars (and as we all know, they don't count!) ;-)

Have I driven a Clio…??? Oh, yes, a mate looked a Clio 182 a few years ago - had a wee blatt in that!

Already done the Vossen CVT wheels was one of the first in the UK to have them, had them on a E90 M3, another good friend of mine owns http://www.prestigewheelcentre.co.uk he is a main distributer for Vossen wheels.
