My Prodrive Scooby only had 330bhp and 331 lb.ft but it was just sooo tractable. Full-time, symmetrical 4wd was simply superb at getting the power down, almost regardless of weather.

Not experience 4-Matic in their road cars, but I hope they can weave that amongst their bigger AMG cars before long in the UK.

I know that a certain tuner in Birmingham is looking for a twin turbo car in Germany at the moment so he can have the 4 wheel drive option. He feels that the right hand drive cars just can't get the power down, so is going for a LHD model.

Yes, mine is an AMG PP equipped car, so LSD in place!

You sure? Just that I know a few who "thought" they had it with the performance pack, but it turned out not to be there as it was an optional extra. I only know this as I've read it elsewhere, but worth a check on the build sheet (or by jacking it up)

Red: 4wd LHD car..... Yikes! I'll say no more!

MB Dorchester advertised it as having the AMG Performance Pack, and it certainly feels like there's a limited slip diff at work when manoeuvring at low speed... Pretty certain I saw some cooling vanes around the diff area too, although I'll admit I haven't looked too closely.

It has the updated brakes, alcantara steering wheel and CF boot lip spoiler (for what those are worth... I know they could've been added later!)

I actually had to stop myself from buying one of those as I knew I would loose my license!!

Mine was an 06 STi Spec D with PPP. Fantastic car. Just wish they'd smarten the interior up!

This was an '08 STi with every pack available (The brakes were massive) in silver, I had a "WRX Classic" with a "Red Top" engine before and the '08 was just mental, so fast it was ridiculous, I just knew I would loose my license

The power pack I understand, but not all came with the LSD. Does it say anywhere: Option Code 471, "AMG rear axle limited-slip differential lock"?

Not all PP or PPP cars are equal.

If in doubt (and apologies if I'm being patronising) jack both rear wheels off the ground. Turn one and, if LSD is fitted, the other wheel will turn the same way. If it's not fitted then the other wheel will go in the opposite direction.

Was sure sales bod said it was when I mentioned it! I will have to indulge in a drive-by beating if he's told me porkies!

Will go and double check the VIN decode thread, as I don't recall seeing that code listed... :-(

It's cool its interesting to read. The previous owner of my car told my dealer friend that my car had performance pack too. How can you tell I've got the correct steering wheel but that don't really mean anything lol

Lol I dont drive it much in the week I got a 64 plate smart for two as a work horse lol heated seats pan roof sat nav full leather happy days lol
