... Opening the old ones destroyed them unfortunately...
They are on my E class fuel filter pipes , that's when I first came across them . I sourced a cheap pair of pliers from eBay to get them on again .Don't think I've seen them... a bit OTT aren't they?

Be aware that some tie-wraps do not like UV and/or heat and can degrade surprisingly quickly. To be sure, I usually buy mine from an electrical wholesaler as theirs may be used outside.....and they are also less than half the price of those from a well known diy store!I have used tie raps on vacuum hoses.
