My father had the CS5 on his W204, they did get noisy towards the end of their life, he has GY F1 Assy now, they are much better

Just had x4 Goodyear Assy Eagle F1 put on my motor and the noise reduction was impressive.

Braking and takeoff feel better also. £407 fitted and balanced with sticker lead weights......245x40 rear and 225x45 front.

Although there was 5mm left on the front conti`s i didn`t like them so off they came.

So an update:

I have covered 4500 miles and the rears are half worn, pretty good for the amount of Torques going through them, the fronts are hardly worn at all.

Noise wise there is no difference, they are quiet.

The wet performance is incredible, the dry grip is staggering, really takes some effort to get them to slip.

Overall I am really impressed and the "Bang for your buck" is amazing, I will continue to use them

I like Uniroyals. Those and Contis are the only premium brands I'll use.

Dacia Sandero 1.5 diesel will break traction (from a standing start) if you try hard enough.......
