Only on one side though!

no ive got it down to an art form now where i wear both sides equally. mind you that car is such a horrible thing IMO (i hated the clio its based on so no surprise there as it feels almost identical) i avoid using it where possible.

i only need to find some cheap diffs for Iveco Dailys now.......or some chepo replacement vans of similar size to the ones we have

Used to have a C63...
I meant it's only the outside that's wearing on mine... The inside is holding up well...! ;-)

I will be glad when I settle down again in the SL, I keep trying the max :D

I want the CL tyres to wear out as I have a spare brand new set taking up room.

So as some know I had the wheels refurbed a few weeks ago and put a full set of Uniroyal RainSport 3 tyres on.

Some positive thoughts a few weeks in:

1. They were an inspired choice given the weather recently
2. They are quiet (Not Dunlop SportMAXX Quiet)
3. The car feels smooth, much better than the Pirelli that were on it, they do ride well
4. They look awesome:

5. They have pictures of Sharks on
6. The wet grip is staggering, I have had most makes of tyre and these are the best by a country mile. They are so sure footed, never felt even the slightest twitch.
7. Value for money they can't be beaten

Negatives:

Due to the sheer amount of water they clear my car gets dirty incredibly fast, never known anything like it, I wouldn't want to be following me

Yep. Good tyres. Had these on my E39.

Running them on my r129 - done about 1500 miles and they are just superb - especially for the money!

I do hope that they stay quiet when ½ worn, that is the big test.

I think JB must be about there on the tail end pair...

I am, they are fine noise wise, if they get noisier then I will turn up my Rick Astley album

The previous owner to me has put some tyres called Link LComfort 68 on the front, Chinese cheap tyres. I have Contis on the back and was going to change the fronts but they actually grip pretty well and are quiet. Dunno about how they will wear, but when they do I'll go Uniroyal or Conti.

The benefit of having 205/55/16 is Contis are only 62 quid a corner.
