Hello everyone just new to this kind of chat, i bought a 65 plate Mercedes 200 from a car place in September 2018 ,the car had full history at this point and the car company I bought it from (not a Mercedes company but very reputable) said they serviced the car and gave me all the previous paperwork with the car ,the salesman showed me a couple of Mercedes receipts that work had been carried out on the car from Mercedes one being that they had to replace the sun-blind in August 18 ,so I use the blind a cpl of weeks ago and it starts to grind and starts to chew up and doesn’t work properly ,I call Mercedes and book it in ,they identify that it is the same problem as before and only suggest that they will meet half the costs as I’m a new owner of the car and they said because they didn’t service the car !I stand to be corrected here but surely if the same fault is reported again in such a short timescale then the original cause has not been identified properly??
