Spent 1.5 hrs longer than I should have sat in mine... it’s not an uncomfortable place to be though for almost 6 hours

Driven it.

Not gone far as it currently has no protection on the paint till Monday, but just had a quick 20 or so mile round trip in it.

Very impressed so far, much more refined than the E63 and certainly smoother and quieter. It goes for detailing on Monday which will take a couple of days, then it will be having a bit of extra security fitted to it on the Wednesday when I have it back home.

I'm then off over to N Wales for a bit of a catch up with some old friends for a couple of days and have already decided that I'll be going in the S Class and not the Lexus, even though the weather forecast is poor. This may be the last time it gets driven far this year so I'm grabbing the opportunity.

We drove round them yesterday on our way to Lincoln.... A46 was clogged but back roads round Newark were clear.

Oh yes all the back roads were clear apart from all the traffic that was looking for ways around coming through our village the artic lorry’s are the worst especially when it says not suitable for heavy goods vehicles

We went through Farndon then around Newark and then through Coddington then up past the showgrounds before rejoining the A46

Ah you must have got through early then, the Farndon road was clogged all the way past eden hall by midday and didn’t clear by all accounts till around 3,

The A46 was still blocked back to the junction at Eden Hall so not all that clear.
Farndon was also still blocked which is why we turned off South down to Hawton before dodging around Newark.

Left mine in the garage today but did hear a C63 V8 start up and leave the car park when we were out. That woke up the green-eyed monster.

Started it got my 6yr old son from the house he ran straight. To the new transit van I have, he wanted to go in that he loves the sliding doors on each side.
So started the Merc got the shopping bags out of it
