If it helps, I'd got over 8k from the RS3s on the back of my C63 - and they still have useful life left in them when I sold the car! Mixed driving, and I'd say I was a "spirited but sympathetic" driver.

They are soft due to the high silica content, BUT this means they work well a lower temps so more all round and they are good value

I get at least 10k out the rears and 20k out of the fronts

Our bus (E240 estate) goes about 15k on the rear and 20k+ on fronts.

thanks to alex at AMF for sorting out my new brake discs and pads, which came from euro car parts at quite a hefty discount on one of their sales!

he also sorted out the stuck steering column adjustment and had a look at the non-functioning seat support system. leak has been identified and we hope can be sorted relatively easily.

Traffic light Grand Prix's ??

There is a section that has a couple of sets on the flat, so I have done a few fast starts up to 50 and then off the pedal. It is most enjoyable. I will ease of these now.
