What ever you use rub it into the rubber well. Too much left over will get all over the windows.

Can you please also email me how to adjust the leaky roof please. Due to the disform (everytime under high temperature), my SLK 200 R172 roof got bulged arond the cenetr and created a gap between the roof and the rubber, wind noise and water droplets has become untolerable, especially when drivng with a speed higher than 100 km.

Unfortunately Malcolm passed away in 2017 - the instructions he was sending out were for the R170 SLK which aren't relevant for the R172
