I think Ocon could be in there, he is still a Mercedes Driver on loan to Alpine
Seen nothing of Ocon that warrants him being in a top seat. Didn't get the measure of Perez at FI, no quicker than Gasly and we know his relative level and his standout results have usually been luck enforced, think of his win in Hungary and his podium in Monaco.

Albon has always punched above his weight and was wrongly dropped for Perez after his lucky Bahrain win. Albon was punted out of race winning positions 2-3 times in 2020.

Then there is Mick, proven at lower formulas to win titles, F2, F3. Blisteringly quick over one lap but was never going to show his talent at Haas and KMAG and Hulk haven't faired much better there. Could see him going in there as outright number 2 for 25 on a 1 year deal, much like they did with Bottas.

I agree, it's just Ocon is still officially a "Mercedes Junior Driver"

Why Albon would go back to RB is a mystery, think he should be in the running for the MB seat and put Mick in the Williams

Keeping their green I see, but a lot more bare carbon fibre.
Interesting little details on rear wing corners, with the colour and lighting it looks as if the sidepod inlets are too narrow to do any good.

I see that they're going for maximum downwash from the side pods. Front wing is interesting with the bottom plane projecting in front of the nose - hoping to direct air to the underfloor?

Most seem to have a bulge above the rear suspension arms, easy to see on the McLaren where it has DELL Technologies written on it, there are spy photos of the RB from it's outing today and it has also developed them, MB had it last year.

They all seem to have the wing forward of the nose as well

Differences on the '23 and '24 MB

Apparently the front wing is held up by a single wire

Appreciate your work in posting photos of the new cars @JBell
Only 2 weeks to go now and I'm more excited for the start of a season than I've ever been...but not as much as I will be for next year. ;)

Rule changes:

In a bid to try and encourage more overtaking, the DRS (drag reduction system) would now be activated after just one lap of a start or restart, rather than the two laps that had previously been the case.

The new season will also see a reshuffle in the Sprint Race weekend schedule - Free Practice 1 and Sprint Qualifying has shifted to Friday with both the Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying on Saturday while the Grand Prix will culminate on Sunday still.

There will also be an increase in Power Unit allocations to four per driver for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. That is aimed at accommodating the increased demands of the revised format.

I gather that the cars will no longer enter parc ferme between the sprint and the race qualifying in addition to the changed sprint format.
I'm not convinced that RB is an actual race car - there don't appear to be any cut-outs in the floor edges.
